News and events

Every three months, ASHIA posts a newsletter. Volunteers who have experienced a placement in through us will have an opportunity to publish their stories in this newsletter.

It is a great way to get more information on what is going on during the placements.

Every 2 weeks, ASHIA will post news and events on this webpage, so frequently visit it for the latest updates and stories from volunteers and partners.

Sustainable aid in Cameroon

ASHIA is taking part in a project to help reconstruct lives. With our plastic surgery in Cameroon project, we hope to travel in 2008 with a crew of 6 medical specialists, ranging from plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists to pediatricians. The aim of this collaboration is to provide sustainable projects and aid to rural hospitals in Cameroon. In the near future, medical experts will be sent to these different locations so as to improve certain health care that is not yet developed.
